The most problematic issue I have when shopping for my keto diet is where to find products that are keto friendly. I find that an overwhelming percentage of food in our local grocery store is not compliant for the keto diet. As an example, I have been searching for a ham that hasn’t been sugar cured at all my local grocery stores. I simply cant find one. Not even the health food stores in my area carry them. To me, this is more than frustrating.
My local grocery store is getting better about carrying natural products, but the prices are marked up as specialty items. Hence, my budget goes out the window. For this reason, I started to look for online solutions. Fortunately, I found quite a few great options. And in the end, it has saved me money.
I wont say that the online stores are always less, but a great deal of the time they are. Do your homework, comparison shop and then you can make educated purchases.
